His Favorite Pastime

Last Sunday was one of those super exciting, sunny days...one you just can't wait to be out in!

So after small group and lunch, Jas hit up the bait and tackle room, selected a pole and headed toward the pond (a quite large one, I must add).

And because you all know I jump on any opportunity to take pictures, here's what I got...

There ya have it...my man at his finest (and goofiest ;)

And I'm sad to say he caught no fish that day (but don't tell him I told you so! shhhh)

So we just wanted to say THANK YOU for the sweet notes and letters of encouragement...they're much appreciated!

And look!  Your letters even gave me a reason to take a photograph...you know that made me doubly happy :)

A 'Lil Note to my Camera

Dear Camera,

I really miss you.  Like really, a lot.  I have picked you up MAYBE once since having been here in Virginia.  That's more than a week...and that's far too long, my dear friend.  My fingers long to have you in them, to click away, and feel reunited!  My creative side is feeling a bit deprived...and you're the solution.  So what do you say, can we please make a date soon? I know a great icy pond (with beautiful morning views) where we can hang out a while...
